Cuti ni agak panjang sebab raye cina. Sabtu, Ahad,Isnin dan Selasa. Wow!lumayan.Tapi sy spend banyak mase kat Putrajaya je sbb tak nak ikut family balik T'ganu.Banyak keje.konon. Tapi hakikatnya, byk keje tak jalan. Ish!takleh jadi ni. Kene buat sesuatu. Kenapa hari2 dibiarkan tanpa memperbaiki azam ye? Mungkin kurang sikap optimistik dalam diri seperti ade Baby Elephant Syndrom dlm diriku ini.
Baby elephant tu, mase kecilnya diikat dgn rantai besi pada sebatang pokok. Habis sedaya upaya die cube melepaskan diri tapi tak berjaya. Masa berlalu, baby elephant sudah pon besar, tapi dia tak lagi berusaha melepaskan diri sbb mind set nya sudah fix. Die percaya, walau mcm mane usaha pon pasti dia tak dpt lepaskan diri. Walhal, dgn badannye yg dah pon besar, dgn sekali sentap pon die boleh je membebaskan diri. Macam tu lah sy. Dari first posting sampai skrg ni, dah posting ke-7 dah, tak pernah2 dpt A. Dah rasa A tu adalah something yg impossible. Padahal, boleh je dpt A,kalau usha lebih lagi. Huhu...
Tapi takpelah, walaupun tak byk buat keje..ade hikmahnya sy stay kat Putrajaya cuti ni. Banyak luangkan mase dgn kwn yg sgt baik. Kwn sy ni tak balik Johor cuti nih. Banyak jugak yg boleh diteladani dan dicontohi bila berdampingan dgn die. Alhamdulillah...syukur padaNya krn telah mengurniakan sahabat.
Tapi biasela kan..semangat ni bukannya boleh tahan lama. Petang Isnin sy balik jugak umah lps family dah balik dari kampung. kuangkuangkuang!! hmm, spend time dgn mak mmg best. Tapi byk sgt citer yg tak sedap didengari. Whateverlah..yg baik jadikan tauladan, yg buruk jadikan sempadan.

Arrogance
Its my turn to give tazkirah to my group mates at KK Dengkil(we r now doing Family Medicine posting). Don't know what topic to choose. Alhamdulillah..came across a topic which is simple yet very important to be reminded. My topic wud be arrogance. I found this hadith which is very touching.
Hadith - al-Bukhari 9.541, Narrated Abu Huraira, r.a.
The Prophet said, "Paradise and Hell (Fire) quarrelled in the presence of their Lord. Paradise said, 'O Lord! What is wrong with me that only the poor and humble people enter me?' Hell (Fire) said, 'I have been favored with the arrogant people.' So Allah said to Paradise, 'You are My Mercy,' and said to Hell, 'You are My Punishment which I inflict upon whom I wish, and I shall fill both of you. (The Prophet added, "As for Paradise, (it will be filled with good people) because Allah does not wrong any of His created things, and He creates for Hell (Fire) whomever He will, and they will be thrown into it, and it will say thrice, 'Is there any more,' till Allah (will put) His Foot over it and it will become full and its sides will come close to each other and it will say, 'Qat! Qat! Qat! (Enough! Enough! Enough!)."
In this hadith we can try to imagine that the hell fire will be fulled because Allah thrown arrogance people in the hell fire. Indeed, all mankind has this disease that we call arrogance except Rasulullah S.A.W.It just that, it may be small or large, whether we realize it or not. People could be arrogance because of money, status or even the good deeds they do.
One of the Salaf (Pious Predecessors) said: "Indeed a servant commits a sin by which he enters Paradise; and another does a good deed by which he enters the Fire." It was asked: How is that? So he replied: "The one who committed the sin, constantly thinks about it; which causes him to fear it, regret it, weep over it and feel ashamed in front of his Lord - the Most High - due to it. He stands before Allaah, broken-hearted and with his head lowered in humility. So this sin is more beneficial to him than doing many acts of obedience, since it caused him to have humility and humbleness - which leads to the servant's happiness and success - to the extent that this sin becomes the cause for him entering Paradise. As for the doer of good, then he does not consider this good a favour from his Lord Upon him. Rather, he becomes arrogant and amazed with himself, saying: I have achieved such and such, and such and such . So this further increases him in self adulation, pride and arrogance - such that this becomes the cause for his destruction."
Its always like that, when we think we are better than others because they are pregnant but unmarried, because they are drug addict or because they just look bad.
...Verily, Allâh does not like such as are proud and boastful; Those who are miserly and enjoin miserliness on other men and hide what Allâh has bestowed upon them of His Bounties.... Qur'an 4:36-37
It is also mention in surah Lukman, that tell us the story about Lukman advising his son:
"O my son! If it be (anything) equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and though it be in a rock, or in the heavens or in the earth, Allâh will bring it forth. Verily, Allâh is Subtle (in bringing out that grain), Well¬Aware (of its place).
means, if a wrong action or a sin be equal to the size of a grain of mustard seed. He will bring it forth on the Day of Resurrection, when it is placed in the Scales of justice and everyone is rewarded or punished for his actions -- if they are good, he will be rewarded and if they are bad he will be punished.
O my son! Aqim¬is¬Salât (perform As¬Salât), enjoin (people) for Al¬Ma'rûf (Islâmic Monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from Al¬Munkar (i.e. disbelief in the Oneness of Allâh, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil and bad), and bear with patience whatever befall you. Verily! These are some of the important commandments ordered by Allâh with no exemption.
And turn not your face away from men with pride, nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily, Allâh likes not each arrogant boaster.
means, `do not turn your face away from people when you speak to them or they speak to you, looking down on them in an arrogant fashion. Rather be gentle towards them and greet them with a cheerful face,' do not be boastful, arrogant, proud and stubborn. Do not do that, for Allah will hate you.
And be moderate (or show no insolence) in your walking, and lower your voice. Verily, the harshest of all voices is the voice (braying) of the ass."
Qur'an 31:16-19
So, what should we do to prevent us become arrogance? The scholars has suggested that we should get rid of the disease of pride by increasing zikr(remembrance of Allah) to such extend that the bad habit become conquered beneath the effect zikr.
These words is for correction of myself and I pray to Allah that from his own divine power and from his ample mercy he makes these words highly profitable for others.amin.
